Matiya Djordjevic is a Junior Financial Analyst with a strong foundation in finance and a lifelong passion for the yachting industry. Combining analytical expertise with a client-focused mindset, he brings a dynamic and well-rounded approach to supporting investment decisions within the luxury yachting sector.
Background
Matiya has pursued an international academic journey across five countries, including France, Serbia, the United States, Italy, and Singapore. He studied at EDHEC Business School and UCLA, as well as completing a period at NTU Singapore. This multicultural education has equipped him with a global perspective, adaptability, and strong cross-cultural communication skills. Having grown up immersed in the yachting world, he developed an early appreciation for the industry’s heritage, standards, and excellence.
Experience
With one year of professional experience in the yachting industry, Matiya complements his financial role with a background in both luxury sales and accounting. He began his career working with prestigious brands such as Swarovski, gaining valuable insight into high-end client service and sales. He later transitioned into finance through roles in hotel accounting departments, where he developed strong analytical and operational skills. Today, he combines market awareness with financial acumen to support strategic decision-making and identify valuable opportunities within yachting. Fluent in English, French, and Italian, and proficient in several Balkan languages, Matiya operates comfortably in international environments. Passionate about sports and travel, he brings energy, curiosity, and a commitment to excellence in all aspects of his work.
