Bio
Alex has spent his life connected to the water, whether sailing dinghies, surfing, or snorkeling. His passion for the sea eventually led him to a career in yachting, where he now serves as Head of Operations Management at Camper & Nicholsons. Based in the South of France since 2004, Alex enjoys all sports on and under the water.
Background
Alex began his professional journey in sales, working for major companies in Spain for 14 years. Driven by his love for sailing, he took a break from corporate life to pursue his Yachtmaster certification in England. This marked the start of his transition into the yachting industry.
Experience
After earning his Yachtmaster qualification, Alex delivered yachts and worked as crew aboard larger vessels, including two years on busy charter yachts. He later co-managed a charter management company for over six years before joining Camper & Nicholsons in 2011 as Charter Manager. In 2019, Alex moved into yacht management as Fleet Manager and now leads the Operations Management division, bringing decades of hands-on experience and leadership to the role.
