About Frederic Cretin

For Frédéric Cretin, the sea has always been a source of passion and inspiration. Spending his childhood summers in Saint-Tropez has impressed upon him the grandeur and ésprit of sailing and yachting, so when the time came for him to choose a career path, it was an obvious choice.

Fréd studied corporate strategy and international development at the University of Nice, throughout which he worked as a part-time yacht accountant. His career progressed quickly from there - from yacht accountant to assistant yacht manager, then charter assistant and charter manager. He is well-versed in finance as well as marketing, making him a flexible and agile professional.

Today, as a charter manager for Camper & Nicholsons, he is passionate about delivering top quality and service on board and on shore. He works to protect and maintain the high value assets of the owners with whom he works.

A real French foodie and avid world traveller, Fréd loves to explore remote destinations. He quotes Iceland as his favourite and cannot wait to see Antarctica. When he is not in the office or organising his next big vacation, you will probably find him in the countryside, where he has a home with chickens and a big fruit and vegetable garden.
