Cyril Catania is Fleet Manager at Camper & Nicholsons, leveraging over two decades of maritime experience to ensure the operational excellence of the company’s fleet. Formerly a seasoned yacht captain, Cyril now applies his technical expertise, leadership skills, and deep industry knowledge to maintain the highest standards of safety, performance, and client satisfaction.
Background
Cyril holds a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Antibes and is certified as a Captain (200, 500, 3000) by ENSM Marseille. Fluent in French and English, and conversational in Italian, Cyril combines strong academic credentials with a lifelong passion for the sea and exploration.
Experience
Before becoming Fleet Manager, Cyril spent over 20 years as a yacht captain, commanding prestigious vessels such as Luisamay, Axioma, Sister Act, and Bang! His career included six years aboard Luisamay and Sister Act, one season on Axioma, and four years with Bang! Today, Cyril oversees fleet operations, applying his expertise in engineering, navigation, yacht management, and administration to deliver exceptional service. Outside of work, he enjoys running, cycling, hiking, photography, and exploring unspoiled natural landscapes.
