Bio

As an Insurance Assistant at Camper & Nicholsons, Elisa Fremaux-Riff supports the Risk Management and Insurance department, bringing a strong foundation in economics and finance and a keen interest in the complexities of maritime insurance. With a detail-oriented and analytical approach, she is particularly interested in developing her understanding of the sector and the specific requirements of insurance within the yachting industry.

Although new to yachting professionally, Elisa is motivated by the opportunity to apply her financial knowledge in an international and highly specialised environment, while building expertise within the maritime insurance sector.

Background

Elisa holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance, complemented by Bloomberg and ESG-related certifications. Her academic experience has given her a strong understanding of financial markets and analytical processes, while her participation in the Bloomberg Global Trading Challenge, where she ranked among the top 20%, further developed her ability to work in a competitive financial environment.

Her interest in yachting has also been shaped by her personal background. Having grown up with parents who owned a yacht in Hong Kong, she was introduced to the lifestyle from an early age, although her professional background to date has primarily been outside the yachting industry.

Elisa is fluent in French, English, and German, giving her a strong international profile suited to Camper & Nicholsons' multicultural environment.

Experience

Before joining Camper & Nicholsons, Elisa gained professional experience in Monaco, including as an Administrative Assistant with John Taylor Monaco in the real estate sector. She also developed experience within the Monaco yachting environment through an office management role with Fraser, giving her an initial understanding of the professional landscape surrounding the luxury yacht industry.

Today, Elisa brings together her financial education, administrative experience, and growing knowledge of maritime insurance to support the Risk Management and Insurance department. Her analytical mindset and interest in the more complex aspects of insurance provide a strong foundation as she develops her career within the yachting sector.

Outside of work, Elisa enjoys scuba diving, having obtained her first diving licence at the age of 11, as well as travelling and reading classical literature. She also has a background in athletics, having represented her school in competitions and achieved multiple podium finishes.
