Bio

As Technical Superintendent at Camper & Nicholsons, Anastasios Letsios oversees the technical management and operational performance of vessels, ensuring the highest standards of safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance. With a strong engineering background and extensive experience in vessel operations, he is responsible for coordinating maintenance programmes, drydock projects, technical inspections, and class requirements to support seamless yacht operations.

Known for his analytical approach and attention to detail, Anastasios combines technical expertise with practical problem-solving skills to deliver efficient and cost-effective solutions throughout the vessel lifecycle.

Background

Anastasios holds a BSc in Naval Architecture and Marine Engineering from the University of West Attica in Greece. With more than twelve years of experience in the maritime industry, he has developed a broad technical skillset spanning vessel management, machinery maintenance, drydock supervision, regulatory compliance, and newbuilding projects.

His career has taken him across Europe, Asia, and Africa, providing valuable international exposure and strengthening his ability to work effectively in multicultural environments. This global perspective, combined with his engineering expertise, enables him to approach technical challenges with both precision and adaptability.

Experience

Before joining Camper & Nicholsons, Anastasios served as Fleet Superintendent for C Transport Maritime SAM in Monaco, where he was responsible for the technical management of a diverse fleet including bulk carriers, floating transfer stations, tugs, and barges. In this role, he oversaw vessel maintenance, drydockings, machinery performance, class compliance, and day-to-day technical operations.

Earlier in his career, he worked as a New Building Supervisor for Eletsion Corp. and Glafcos Marine Ltd., managing vessel construction projects at leading shipyards in Japan and China. His responsibilities included supervising hull construction, machinery installation, outfitting, painting works, commissioning, and delivery processes.

Anastasios also gained experience as a UTM Operator and Trainee Naval Architect Engineer at PSA Marine Bureau in Piraeus, building a strong technical foundation that continues to support his work today. His key areas of expertise include technical vessel management, preventive maintenance strategies, drydock planning and execution, root cause analysis, class and statutory compliance, and project coordination.
