Orient Pearl is a fantastic choice for a luxury sailing yacht charter in South East Asia, this 27.4m classically styled schooner perfectly embodies all the romanticism of the sea and long, lazy afternoons spent under sail. Orient Pearl was custom built and designed specifically with charter in mind, she was launched in 1997 and refit in 2017.

Despite being a relatively small superyacht, Orient Pearl offers accommodation for 10 guests in five en-suite cabins – an arrangement usually only comparable with yachts that are 10ft longer – making her well suited to group charters.

Orient Pearl’s interior is well thought-out and a large central saloon, which receives plenty of natural light, separates the crew quarters and guest accommodation, with the guest cabins positioned forward towards the bow.

The saloon of this sailing yacht has a bank of comfortable sofas around a dining table and there are also refreshment facilities for coffee or refrigerated drinks.

The full-beam master incorporates a seating area and the two VIP doubles feature king size beds.  The two twin cabins are positioned amidships, one port and one starboard. All of the cabins have their own independently controlled air conditioning.

The interior décor has oriental influences and features mahogany throughout.

Orient Pearl’s wide beam offers plenty of space on deck to relax and sun awnings provide partially shaded areas.  The aft deck has a dining table that can seat 10 as well as a bar, and there’s also various deck chairs and sun pads.

Refreshing drinks, champagne or cocktails are served throughout the day and Orient Pearl’s Chef has tasty local snacks on hand in-between meals, serving only the best of Asian cuisine, fresh fish and seafood.

Days can be spent exploring islands and bays, hiking ashore or enjoying the water swimming, snorkelling or kayaking.
