About Barbara Dawson
Barbara has been a charter broker for more than two decades, having joined Camper & Nicholsons almost 25 years ago from her own successful company, New Horizon Charters.
Barbara was raised in Virginia where she developed a love for everything to do with the sea. Sailing became more than a passing interest and it was a natural progression for her to join the yachting industry. Barbara was on the board of the Mediterranean Yacht Brokers Association (MYBA) for 8 years, and is still active on the charter committee. She also was on the board of the American Yacht Charter Association (AYCA), and is an associate member of the Florida Yacht Brokers Association.
Barbara has travelled extensively, exploring the best yachting destinations, supplying her with top insider tips to relay back to her clients, whether it be recommendations for a deserted beach or advices on local restaurants.
