About LAMIMA
Lamima offers the charm of an Indonesian two-masted phinisi with the opulent luxuries of modern yacht design. Lamima is a nautical masterpiece, the vision of esteemed yacht designer Marcelo Penna, who wanted to create a vessel that merged traditional Indonesian hospitality with modern superyacht opulence.
In 2012 boat builders of Ara, Sulawesi, skillfully set about constructing, what would be, the world's largest wooden sailing yacht. Their creation is a 65.2m sailing yacht like no other.
Lamima's stunning interior is contemporary yet welcoming and beautiful Asian influences are apparent throughout her artwork, furniture and fittings. Indoor spaces are open and relaxing, and she comfortably accommodates 14 guests in seven large staterooms, all of which boast en suites.
Up on deck there is ample space for sunbathing, perfect for those looking to relax. Forward of her salon lies an inviting al fresco dining and lounging area shaded by a bimini, just the place for eating fresh fish (caught especially for you by a master fisherman) or unwinding with a massage under the calming techniques / skill of Lamima's qualified SPA therapists.
Lamima comes with a crew of 20, including two experienced Indonesian chefs, two Balinese masseuses, a yoga instructor and two qualified dive masters. As well as boasting an on-board PADI dive centre, Lamima also stores two large tenders, jet-skis, paddleboards and kayaks aboard.
Also onboard Lamima is an expert tour guide, whose deep understanding of the landscape - as well as local customs, culture and folklore - promises you a colourful insight into these fascinating lands.
Lamima is the only world class charter yacht to be registered under the Indonesian flag (a requisite when sailing with clients in Indonesian waters) thus providing further exclusivity and confirming her mandate to explore at liberty, the sapphire waters of the archipelago she calls home.
