About GOOSE

The Goose is a custom-built, 45m ocean-going tri-deck motor yacht built to Lloyds + 100 A1 class by Tough Brothers in the UK, and delivered in 1987 as “Brave Goose” for a discerning and highly experienced Yachtsman. The Goose has only had two owners since new and, in addition to a complete rebuild in 2000 and a continued meticulous maintenance programme, the yacht received a full exterior repaint in 2017/18. She is in excellent order and ready to cruise extensively.

Her timeless and elegant exterior profile and traditional gleaming navy blue hull with white superstructure, give the yacht a wide appeal. The Goose’s interior style was conceived by H2 Yacht Design and features a largely neutral colour palette. Tasteful and understated, beautiful wood panelling in walnut and ash throughout, along with subtle intricate detailing and fine fabrics, connote her exceptional quality.

The Goose has accommodation for 10 guests in five suites, catered for by a crew of 10. The full-beam master stateroom is situated on the main deck with adjacent private study and there are four comfortable en-suite guest doubles below – all positioned forward of the aft engine room, ensuring maximum comfort at sea and minimum noise levels. The Goose is renowned for her stability both underway and at anchor.

The yacht’s exterior spaces include a fully open sun deck where there’s plenty of space for freestanding lounge furniture and sun beds, an expansive bridge deck aft with guest lounging and dining, a guest leisure area forward of the wheel house and a swim platform for ease of access to the sea and tenders. Her tenders are located on the main deck aft, ideal for launching and recovery.

The Goose has a 5,500 nautical mile range at a cruising speed of 11 to 12 knots. She is extremely economical and the perfect choice for a family wanting to embark on extended long range worldwide cruising. Equally at home in the harbours of the Mediterranean and the anchorages of places further afield, The Goose stands out wherever she goes.
