Arne is a senior sales broker with a lifelong passion for sailing and luxury yachting. As a co-founder of the Superyacht Section of the Palma International Boat Show and previous president of the Balearic Yacht Brokers Association, he played a key role in shaping the superyacht industry in the Balearics.
Background
Born in Germany and raised in the mountain resort of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Arne moved to Palma de Mallorca at 16 to live aboard his family’s sailing yacht. He studied at the European Business School in Madrid and Germany, graduating in London. Arne moved back to the mountains some years ago, combining his passion for yachting and skiing. Fluent in German, English and Spanish.
Experience
Arne began his career in market research for a major German car manufacturer and later worked in finance for a Japanese investment bank. In 1995, he returned to yachting as a broker with Camper & Nicholsons. Since then, he has successfully managed numerous yacht sales, purchases, and new build projects. A keen sailor, Arne has competed in regattas and ocean races, bringing firsthand expertise to his clients.
