About Marc Haendle
Marc’s extensive experience in the superyacht and marine leisure industry spans over 19 years and encompasses various management and senior operative roles at some of the superyacht industry’s most notable firms.
A keen yachtsman himself, Marc’s affiliation with boats began at the age of four, sailing a wooden Optimist on Lake Constance in Germany. Prior to forging his career in yachting, Marc obtained a degree in economics and worked a sales manager in the ceramic industry.
In 1999, seeking a new direction, Marc started employment as a yacht service manager and quickly evolved into an international sales broker position, thereafter becoming a senior sales broker and certified MYBA broker.
Marc has built his career on integrity, loyalty and hard work. Well known and highly respected in the international yachting community, Marc was a co-founder of what is now known as the Palma Superyacht Show and his extensive and diverse experience, as well as wide-reaching network, sees him often called on as an industry commentator and advisor.
Marc is skilled in the negotiation and formalisation of contracts, and his ability to identify the finest brokerage opportunities and advise clients as such, has seen him successfully conclude an impressive list of large yacht sales and purchases in recent years. Aside from the sales process itself, Marc is a firm believer in the importance of facilitating and smoothly completing all administration, vessel registration, flag state and crew matters, allowing clients to enjoy the true essence of enjoyable yacht ownership – an approach that aligns perfectly with Camper & Nicholsons own ethos.
In addition to his native German, Marc speaks English and Spanish and also has a genuine enthusiasm for anything related to the sea.
