About Sarah Futhazar

From a British mother and French father, Sarah grew up in Reunion Island. After obtaining her master’s degree in communications in Lyon, France, she worked for a couple of years in events and trade shows before falling in love with yachting.

Over the past 12 years, Sarah has immersed herself in various roles within the yachting industry. Starting as a crew member, she worked her way up through positions such as stewardess, deckhand, and cook, gaining invaluable hands-on experience.

She then transitioned to roles of increasing responsibility, including serving as a PA to very high-profile yacht owners, and later as the director of BWA Yachting France.

 Sarah joined Camper & Nicholsons in October 2021 and today leads the Charter Teams (Retail Brokers and Charter Management) where she works hand in hand with other key departments (legal & compliance, sales, and marketing) to ensure smooth operations.

She uses a proactive approach to streamline processes, introduce innovative tools, and adapt strategies to meet evolving market demands and regulations.
