About CALISTO

Calisto boasts an astounding 68-year heritage, the classic 41.5m yacht represents the epitome of sophistication, elegance and vintage charm. Calisto has been converted into a luxurious superyacht and she presents the ultimate opportunity to discover South East Asia in an unsurpassed level of style and comfort.

Originally built in 1944 by Astoria Marine as a minesweeper for the US Navy, Calisto later served the Royal Navy for 10 years after World War II. In 1954, the Irish former MP, Thomas Loel Guinness, brilliantly transformed Calisto into a luxury private superyacht. Her successive owners, a prestigious

French family, kept and maintained Calisto for over 40 years until she was sold again in 2007, when she was transported to South East Asia and underwent a major restoration.

From the sweeping stretches of open decks to her palatial interior, privacy and luxury define every aspect of a charter experience on board Calisto. No expense was spared in her refit. As well as a completely new hull and reconditioned engines, Calisto's interior was faithfully restored and decorated in the style of a luxury 1960s yacht. State-of-the-art technology has been carefully integrated throughout and the attention to detail in her selection of lighting, fittings and soft furnishings is extraordinary.

Seven fully air conditioned luxury suites, three master suites, two twin staterooms and two single cabins - accommodate up to 12 guests. Rich mahogany wood and whitewashed walls create a beautiful contrast, which is complemented by plush soft furnishings and lavish Egyptian cotton sheets.

Exceptional outdoor deck areas are home to a wealth of sunpads and sun loungers. Al fresco dining and a barbeque make her exterior decks ideal for entertaining or enjoying a meal whilst taking in the surrounding scenery. A large bathing platform provides easy access to the sea and also an array of water toys, which include SeaDoos, submersibles and inflatables. Calisto also benefits from two tenders to transfer guests ashore.

Under the watchful eye of Calisto's professional crew of eight, both children and adults can enjoy watersports, fishing, diving, treasure hunts, beach games or even a relaxing massage from the onboard masseuse. Her internationally trained Chef can concoct anything imaginable. Guests can request their dream meal or leave the decision to the Chef who will create a Thai or Burmese culinary delight.

Offering all of the luxuries and amenities that you would expect to find onboard a luxury superyacht, Calisto offers more, she is a floating masterpiece of history.
