The Mangusta GranSport 45 fast displacement twin screw luxury motor yacht, in the style of the brand’s Mangusta GranSport Line.  At just over 45m in length, this streamlined superyacht is expected to achieve a top speed of 26 knots, with a cruising speed of 20 knots.

The GranSport 45 is constructed in aluminium and is being built to ABS Classification.

The interior concept for the GranSport 45 has been handled by Mangusta’s own Design & Decoration department, with the styling dictated by the owner’s wishes.  Should an owner want to engage an independent interior design firm, this can be done and is welcomed by the yard.

The interior arrangement has been optimised to facilitate the inclusion of excellent storage space and amenities.

Highlights of the GranSport 45’s design include a huge saloon lounge on the lower deck, which extends out onto the stern swim platform with the transom door raised - creating one giant beach club.  On the deck above, a more formal interior lounge takes centre stage and there’s a dining table forward.  On the bow, the GranSport 45 boasts a pool with an ingenious waterfall edge and the pool is flanked on either side by cushioned sun pads.

The GranSport 45 will accommodate up to 12 guests in five suites.  An on-demand audio/video system will be installed, with a central unit acting as a library for DVD/CD/VCD and each guest will have independent access.

An owner can choose to enhance the design of the GranSport 45 further by opting to include a balcony off the owner’s stateroom, adding a multiplex awning system to the forward seating area, or instructing the yard to build the yard as MCA compliant - and thus making her a viable option for commercial charters.

Four electrically actuated stabilising fins with “zero speed” and “underway” capabilities will be fitted to maximise onboard comfort.
