Francesca is the New Build Sales Manager at Camper & Nicholsons, bringing a lifetime of experience and passion for yachting to her role. Known for her expertise in yacht construction and client relations, she combines technical knowledge with a deep understanding of the emotional journey of building a yacht.

Background

Born into a prominent yachting family, Francesca has been immersed in the industry since childhood, her father was co-founder and CEO of a renowned shipyard. She began sailing at age 8, competed in regattas, and later taught sailing as an instructor, developing leadership and communication skills early on. Academically, she studied Literature, Arts, and Philosophy at the University of Bologna and pursued international studies in Boston, Philadelphia, and Australia, gaining cultural fluency and strong communication skills. Francesca is fluent in English, French, Brazilian Portuguese, and Italian.

Experience

Francesca’s career began in press and PR before transitioning into yacht sales, where she held key roles in commercial development and new market expansion. Most recently, she led new build sales at a major Italian shipyard before joining Camper & Nicholsons. In addition to her professional achievements, Francesca is a founding member of Yacht Femme and co-creator of the Women’s Yachting Awards, initiatives that celebrate leadership and innovation among women in the industry. Outside of work, she enjoys singing, theatre, cinema, horse riding, skiing, cooking, and exploring new cultures through travel.
