About OCEAN EMERALD
This new concept private luxury yacht has three genuine deck levels offering more outdoor and indoor space than any yacht in her category.
Special attention was paid to the quality of light and views, with all major areas of the yacht benefiting from forward-looking views, including the master suite that has two private balconies forward.
The interiors have been created with an eye on beauty, function and luxury, right down to the smallest detail. Taking advantage of the floor-to ceiling windows and wide views, Ocean Emerald is an iconic superyacht designed by famous British architect Lord Norman Foster of Foster and Partners, and the striking silhouette of this 41.3m motor yacht can’t help but turn heads wherever she goes.
Ocean Emerald was built by Rodriquez Spa in 2009 and underwent a significant refit and interior refurbishment in 2015. The yacht has an ultra modern design that sees the superstructure line sweep up from the bow and drop down to the stern in a dramatic curve, creating extensive deck space and increasing the window size, which provides an influx of natural light to the interior and an enhanced visual connection with the surroundings.
Ocean Emerald was designed with a focus on family life and her unique design concept boasts up to 30% more exterior and interior space than other yachts in her class. The design is exceptionally versatile and this yacht can quickly switch up the gears from private family vessel to fully fledged party venue.
Ocean Emerald’s salon, situated on the main deck, makes the most of this unusual design and has floor to ceiling panoramic windows. The accommodation aboard Ocean Emerald is comprised of five cabins, in which up to 12 guests can be comfortably accommodated. The master suite is full beam with two private balconies and is positioned on the main deck, with two VIP double cabins and two twin cabins (each with an extra Pullman berth) on the lower deck. A glass spiral staircase, designed to draw daylight down to the guest accommodation, links the various deck levels. On the upper deck there’s a second salon, which has a casual beach club atmosphere, and this features a bar, game station and an extensive movie library. There’s also a state of the art lighting system which transforms this space in the evening, great for a party, and the adjoining aft deck is ideal for al fresco dining. On the top deck, sun pads surround a generously sized and brand new Jacuzzi, and there are also lounge chairs and a bar with stools with or without extractable shade.
The exterior deck spaces are linked by continuous staircases on both sides. A zero-speed stabilization system reduces roll motion, thanks to two active fins, significantly enhancing guest comfort. Ocean Emerald has a proven 'safety on sea' record and can complete long passages with ease. Ocean Emerald has two tender garages: one situated to aft in the stern and accessed via a transom door, and the other just slightly forward of this with access on the post side.
Ocean Emerald has been an exceptionally successful charter yacht, owing to her striking design and versatility of use, and with recently replaced batteries and anchor chain, and an overhaul of the domestic water system, presents an exciting opportunity for a new owner to acquire an iconic vessel in immaculate condition.
