About ARADOS
Arados by The Bastion Collection
The Bastion Collection, the acclaimed hospitality group behind 10 Michelin stars and a portfolio of celebrated destinations including Le Jardinier, L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon, and The Woodward, proudly introduces Arados: a refined expression of its signature luxury, now at sea. This extraordinary yacht brings The Bastion Collection’s world of elegance, service, and culinary excellence to the water. Designed as a floating extension of the group’s renowned destinations, Arados offers guests a rare opportunity to experience Michelin-level service and curated cuisine in an ultra-exclusive, private setting. Her interiors have been thoughtfully reimagined by Pierre-Yves Rochon, working closely with The Bastion Collection to ensure Arados delivers the same warmth, intimacy and effortlessness that define its most coveted properties.
The service aboard Arados is a true expression of the world-class hospitality for which The Bastion Collection is renowned. Inspired by The Woodward in Geneva, recipient of three Michelin keys, an honour reserved for the most exceptional hotel experiences worldwide, Arados upholds the same uncompromising standard in every detail. From the first step aboard, one of the highest crew-to-guest ratios in her class allows for a highly tailored service that anticipates every whim and exceeds every expectation. Every touchpoint is carefully considered, from personalised itineraries to curated seasonal menus and an elegnant turndown service inspired by The Woodward’s five-star ritual.
Designed in collaboration with Pierre-Yves Rochon and The Bastion Collection, Arados is conceived as a floating private residence. Echoing the design touchpoints of her sister property on land, The Woodward, Arados spares no detail and is a showcase of superior craftsmanship and sophistication. Her interior embodies Pierre-Yves Rochon’s signature design philosophy: refined, comfortable spaces that exude elegance. Floor-to-ceiling sliding glass doors and fold-down balconies on both the main and upper decks maintain an uninterrupted connection to the water. Inside, a clean-cut style, light woods, and custom furnishings evoke a sense of serenity. The result is a contemporary, sunlit interior that captures the ease of life at sea and the intimacy of a private retreat. Arados is not simply a charter; it is a home away from home at sea, elevated by design, and imbued with the spirit of The Bastion Collection’s world-class hospitality.
The culinary program aboard Arados reflects The Bastion Collection’s global ethos of excellence, rooted in its 13 award-winning restaurants and anchored by world-renowned destinations like Le Jardinier and L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at The Woodward. With 10 Michelin stars awarded across the portfolio since 2019 and three Michelin keys, The Bastion Collection brings its signature level of refinement to the water. At the heart of Arados’ culinary offering is Chef Franck Loeuillot, whose 25 years of experience are elevated by the mentorship of Chef Olivier Jean, Executive Chef of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon. Chef Jean serves as culinary consultant for Arados, working closely with Chef Franck to deliver a seamless translation of The Bastion Collection’s standards at sea. Their collaboration ensure a dining experience as meticulous, seasonal, and ingredient-driven as they would at any of The Bastion Collection’s flagship outlets. Every menu aboard Arados is inspired by the Collection’s Michelin-starred philosophy, prioritizing the finest, freshest ingredients and shaped by the rhythms of the season. Whether it’s an elegant lunch overlooking the coastline or a multi-course dinner beneath the stars, each meal is a moment of culinary artistry designed to surprise and delight. Complementing the cuisine is a cocktail program inspired by Bar 37, The Woodward’s sophisticated lounge in Geneva—bringing expertly crafted, artfully presented drinks to life on the open sea.
Five serene suites promise a restful night’s sleep, accommodating up to 10 guests. The quarters include two exquisitely appointed VIP cabins on the main deck, each with floor-to-ceiling windows, and a full-beam master suite featuring an intimate nook with panoramic sea views, a spacious en suite complete with a bathtub, rain shower and his-and-hers closets. Two additional guest cabins on the lower deck can be configured as either twins or doubles.
Each evening, a turndown service is carefully prepared by the crew. Guests might return to find handmade chocolates by Le Comptoir, a signature pastry from Titouan Claudet, or Guerlain Sleep & Spa amenities, including a hydrating face mask, silk sleep mask, and a deeply relaxing pillow mist.
Arados offers an enchanting outdoor experience, complete with a sundeck Jacuzzi, double sunbeds, tables, and an al fresco American-style bar. Her expansive sky lounge, featuring both a bar and a comfortable lounge area is perfect for social gatherings, seamlessly connecting to the outdoors through fold-down balconies on either side. Dining is typically enjoyed on the upper deck, where guests can savour exquisite cuisine in an elegant, open-air setting. The main deck aft features a spacious sitting area and a beach club with a swim platform, offering effortless access to the sea. For those seeking adventure, Arados comes fully outfitted with a 13-metre Sea Water chase boat and an impressive array of water toys, including jet skis, stand-up paddle boards, Seabobs, kayaks, wakeboards, waterskis, and a variety of inflatables, ensuring endless fun on the water.
