The Best Charter Yachts for Entertaining at Sea
Six charter yachts that make hosting look effortless.
A good charter yacht gives you somewhere to stay. A great one gives you somewhere to host. From Michelin-inspired menus to dancefloors, these five yachts for charter have entertaining down to a fine art.
LOEWE
Born to Entertain
LOEWE’s nine-square-metre swimming pool has a clever party trick. At the touch of a button, its floor rises flush with the surrounding teak, transforming the aft terrace into a dance floor. Delivered by Tankoa in 2025, the 55-metre yacht comes equipped with a professional DJ console, connections for live musicians and an immersive sound system. Colour-changing lighting, an adjoining bar and more than 100 square metres of interconnected terraces keep the party moving from one space to the next.

ARADOS
A Taste for the Extraordinary
Good food deserves good company, and ARADOS is built around both. The 47.3-metre yacht is part of The Bastion Collection, the hospitality group behind an award-winning portfolio that includes L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon and Le Jardinier. The group has won ten Michelin stars since 2019, and the same approach shapes every menu on board. In the galley, Chef Franck Loeuillot brings 25 years of experience, with Olivier Jean, Executive Chef of L’Atelier de Joël Robuchon at The Woodward in Geneva, as his culinary mentor. Guests dine amid Pierre-Yves Rochon’s sumptuous interiors or beneath the stars on the upper deck, with cocktails inspired by The Woodward’s Bar 37.

CALYPSO
The Original Socialite
Malcolm Forbes knew how to throw a party. During the publishing magnate's ownership, 38.4-metre CALYPSO welcomed royalty, politicians and Hollywood personalities, including Elizabeth Taylor. Built by Feadship in 1978, she retains the glamour of that era, now complemented by a multimillion-dollar refit completed in 2025. Original woodwork has been restored, while the redesigned sundeck features a Jacuzzi, bar and dining for 12. Few charter yachts can claim such a colourful social history, making CALYPSO an especially fitting choice for a celebration.

C
All in the Family
The best family holidays leave space for everyone to do as they please, and C is built for exactly that. Dual master suites sit among seven cabins for up to 12 guests, so every generation has a retreat of its own. Children have a dedicated playroom, while two swimming pools, a beach club and a full locker of watersports equipment keep everyone entertained. As the day winds down, the sky lounge becomes a cinema for film nights, and the 14-seat table on the upper deck brings everyone back together for dinner.

LOON
Reasons to Celebrate
LOON knows how to make an occasion of entertaining. The 67.5-metre yacht has two outdoor dining areas seating 12, an infinity-edge swimming pool and a beach club bar that opens directly onto the sea. An outdoor sound system takes care of the music, while the main salon can be transformed into a cinema. Daytime celebrations can extend onto the water, with an inflatable beach club, sea pool and four-metre waterslide adding to an impressive collection of toys.

QU2
Black Tie Optional
On QU2, the dress code calls for bare feet rather than black tie. Delivered by Amels in 2026, the 60-metre yacht brings a tropical twist to entertaining, with Pacific Island-inspired interiors by Winch Design and a barefoot philosophy that extends well beyond her decks. The 29-metre sundeck offers shaded dining and a bar, but the most memorable table might be ashore. A Pascoe Beachlander tender can deliver guests directly onto the sand for a private beach barbecue, with QU2 waiting just offshore.
