Camper & Nicholsons Appoints Benjamin Bensahel as Chief Executive Officer

Camper & Nicholsons is pleased to announce the appointment of Benjamin Bensahel as Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds Paolo Casani, who has decided to leave Camper & Nicholsons after successfully leading the company and completing its sale to its new majority shareholder.
Bensahel's appointment follows six years of leadership within Camper & Nicholsons, most recently as Chief Commercial Officer for Europe & the Middle East. Having joined the company in Monaco as Sales Manager in 2020, he was promoted to Head of Sales Europe, subsequently extending his responsibilities to include the United States and the Middle East, before his appointment as Chief Commercial Officer. Having held senior positions across several key markets, he brings extensive commercial experience and a comprehensive understanding of the company’s operations and client relationships.
Bensahel takes the helm following Sea Expandary Group’s acquisition of a majority stake in Camper & Nicholsons earlier this year. As CEO, he will assume responsibility for the company’s worldwide operations, overseeing its brokerage, charter, new construction and yacht management divisions, while leading its continued growth and development under new ownership.

Camper & Nicholsons extends its sincere thanks to Paolo Casani for his leadership and dedication. Appointed President of the Board in 2015 and Chief Executive Officer in 2017, he successfully led the turnaround of Camper & Nicholsons, overseeing the expansion of the company's international network with the opening of new offices in Hong Kong, Singapore, Dubai, Athens, Cannes, and Viareggio. Under his leadership, the company broadened its service offering through the creation of the New Build, Design, Insurance Solutions and Corporate Services divisions.
