David holds STCW Unlimited Master Mariner and Chief Engineer certifications and brings 17 years of experience in the shipping industry. His career began at sea, working for several shipping companies in roles ranging from technical superintendent to new build superintendent. His passion for engineering and operational excellence laid the foundation for his transition into the yachting sector.
Experience
Over the past nine years in the yachting industry, David has served as Designated Person Ashore, Head of Worldwide Safety Management, and Head of Yacht Management. His 360-degree expertise spans technical specifications for new builds and the efficient operation of superyachts. Outside of work, David enjoys traveling, motorbike road trips, and practicing his golf swing before tackling a nine-hole course.
