About David Peano

David brings his extensive shipping industry experience to our yacht management division as the new build technical manager and fleet manager in our Monaco office. With the STCW Unlimited Master Mariner and Chief Engineer certification, along with 17 years of experience within the shipping industry, David has unique 360-degree expertise, ranging from the technical specification of a new build to the efficient operation of a superyacht.

Being a seafarer for several shipping companies, David has undertaken a variety of roles from technical superintendent to new build superintendent. More recently, during his nine years within the yachting industry, David has been the designated person ashore, head of worldwide safety management department and head of yacht management department. This gives him the unique skill set, perfectly suited as the Camper & Nicholsons new build technical manager and fleet manager role.

A lover of travel and the open road after undertaking a road trip in the United States on his motorbike, David can also be found practicing his swing before attempting a nine holer.
