Vela is a 50-metre Phinisi that channels the spirit of traditional Sulawesi boatbuilding into the farthest reaches of the archipelago. Handcrafted by local artisans and shaped by generations of seafaring knowledge, she moves between Komodo’s dragon-guarded shores and the limestone spires of Raja Ampat with a dive-ready crew and an itinerary rooted in culture, wilderness and open water.
