TEMPEST is an aluminium maxi built for the rigours of ocean racing. Designed for offshore competition, she achieved notable results including line honours in the Bermuda Race and a class win in the Transpac.

A recessed cockpit, enlarged during the 2000 rebuild, provides protection under sail and dining on deck.
TEMPEST’s interior, designed by Hoek Design, features warm teak joinery and an open-plan salon, galley and dining area.

Completely rebuilt at Holland Jachtbouw in 2000, TEMPEST was stripped to her bare aluminium hull and renewed from the keel up with new bulkheads, engineering, rig, and systems. A 2025 refit brought further upgrades, including a new engine, generator, and updated mechanical and electrical systems throughout.
