AQUA BLU
Luxury Motor Yacht for Charter |
60.35m (197ft) | Brooke Marine | 1968 (2019)

INSTANT BOOKING

Guests can expect to embrace a distinguished sense of history and seafaring evolution when they set foot on this one-of-a-kind yacht. Aqua Blu began life as a British Naval Explorer - HMS Beagle and took her original name from the legendary ship that carried Charles Darwin on his expeditions to understand evolution. After operating as Titan, the private yacht of an European aristocratic family in the Mediterranean, it is now somewhat fitting that Aqua Blu returns to her exploratory roots and cruises Indonesian waters.

Spread across five decks, the Aqua Blu perfects the concept of a modern explorer yacht with generously sized and inviting indoor and outdoor social spaces. Aqua Blu’s main salon is perfect to relax and socialise or for use as one large open space for entertaining. The library and television room are situated on the upper deck, complete with the sky lounge bar which opens up onto a sheltered veranda through automatic glass doors and the massage room.

Few things are more enjoyable in the tropics than cooling off in Aqua Blu’s Jacuzzi, which is flanked by plush daybeds for sunbathing and perhaps even a snooze after a diving or snorkelling session! The sundeck offers spectacular 360-degree views wherever you sail in the picturesque Indonesian region. Equipped with a barbecue, outdoor seating with umbrellas and wrap-around lounge sofas, this is the perfect location for sunrise yoga, an evening grill party or night-time stargazing.

Accommodation-wise modern luxury and ultimate comfort were the design drivers for renowned Dutch yacht designer Cor D. Rover, and these private sanctuaries lend a luxurious sense of home. Aqua Blu offers 15 individually designed suites in which up to 30 guests can be accommodated across the four-deck interior layout. All of which are air-conditioned, en-suite, and tastefully decorated with a brass-and-ivory interior theme.

Aqua Blu has travelled throughout the world from the Indian Ocean to the West Indies, and Scotland to South Africa. Currently Aqua Blu is the first western-style Superyacht to be based year-round for charter in Indonesia and offers set itineraries across three locations in this region. From December through February, she will charter in Raja Ampat before moving to Bali and the area of Komodo National Park from April through September. After that Aqua Blu will start the route again with the remote and wonderfully exotic Spice Islands from October to November, an area not many (if any) Superyachts currently offer to charter and boasts some of the best hammerhead shark diving in the world.

Having attained the highest international classifications (RINA, SOLAS, ISM) in safety, Aqua Blu is additionally equipped with Quantum Zero Speed stabilisers for optimal comfort at anchor and while sailing. She might have been given a new purpose, but Aqua Blu retains all her ocean-going capabilities such as an impressive range of 7,000nm, making her the perfect travel companion at sea.

Aqua Blu’s toys and tenders include scuba diving equipment, kayaks, stand-up paddleboards, fishing gear, and a selection of RIBs. Her multi-lingual crew of 25 feature a cruise director, dive instructor and highly experienced dive guides, an on board paramedic, and several qualified English-speaking guides for the many onshore excursions that make charters on Aqua Blu so special.

Main Features:

  • All-inclusive rate with tax paid
  • True ocean-going capabilities with exceptional seakeeping
  • Stylish, contemporary design
  • Well-appointed and flexible accommodation for 30 guests
  • A warm and inviting interior with plenty of natural light
  • Expansive deck spaces
  • Excellent crew-to-guest ratio
  • Expert-guided adventure activities and on shore excursions
  • Highly qualified crew including a dive master, paramedic, and masseuse
