Summary
Seeking a full-time Bosun with a proactive attitude, strong teamwork skills, and the ability to think independently. The Bosun will work closely with the Deckhand/Driver under the supervision of the First Mate, ensuring the maintenance and cleanliness of the yacht’s exterior. Additional duties include assisting the Chief Engineer when required.
The role requires a Yacht master qualification, as the Bosun will occasionally hold solo bridge watches under the First Mate’s guidance. This position offers an excellent opportunity for career progression, with encouragement for further study and professional development.
Lifestyle & Itinerary
During the summer, the itinerary includes approximately 60 days in Mykonos and cruising throughout the Mediterranean. Winter 2025/26 season potentially in Athens
The Family & Work Environment
Family-oriented yacht, with the owner’s children in their mid-to-late twenties. The family is fun, polite, and considers the yacht an extension of their home, but they also appreciate structure and punctuality. The workload varies—some trips are relaxed, while others can be more fast-paced.
Compensation & Benefits
• €3,500 per month (permanent position)
• 38 days of annual leave
• Comprehensive medical and dental coverage
• Performance-based 13th-month bonus (at the owner’s discretion)
• Training support: 50% of course costs covered upon completion, with the remaining 50% reimbursed after one year
