With its indigenous name "island of the clouds", Bequia is a quaint haven for those arriving by yacht. The islands history is steep in boat building and ship repair but like many Caribbean islands, slowly changed over to tourism.
Its main port is Port Elizabeth outlining Admiralty Bay where most yachts anchor. Enjoy a stroll along the Belmond Walkway lined with a few restaurants, bars and small hotels. The islands most famous swimming location is Princess Margaret Beach.
