Visit the magnificent Villa Ephrussi de Rothschild, which overlooks the bays of Villefranche and Beaulieu. The villa is surrounded by nine gardens, each on a different theme: Florentine, Spanish, Garden à la française, exotic, a stone garden, a Japanese garden, a rose garden, Provençal and a Sevres garden. They were created between 1905 and 1912 under the direction of landscape architect Achille Duchêne.
Alternatively, head to the splendid Greek Villa Kerylos, a villa built in the early 20th century in a strategic location by the sea, that is now a historical monument.
