Portofino to St Tropez

7 days Luxury Yacht Charter Experience

Iconic vistas and classic yachting glamour.

From Portofino to St Tropez, this stretch of the French and Italian Rivieras boasts many of the most iconic yachting and luxury travel destinations since the trend began in the 1950\'s.

Day 1

Embark in Portofino, a picturesque, half-moon shaped seaside village with pastel houses lining the shore of the harbour, and holds an assortment of tranquil restaurants, cafes and bars.
Highlights of the town include the Piazzetta - a symbol of Portofino and a popular meeting point for the international jetset, and the Brown Castle (Castello Brown) - a fortress in the middle of a hanging garden, characterized by partitions with beautiful bas reliefs, and architectonic embellishments in marble and slate.
Portofino's famous lighthouse is also accessed from here, and is situated on Punta del Capo, imposing itself over the entire bay. For an unforgettable evening, head to the terrace of the Hotel Splendido for dinner.

San Fruttuoso
Day 2

Cruise with the tender to San Fruttuoso, tucked away in a tiny, pristine bay between Camogli and Portofino, surrounded by lush vegetation.
To add to its exclusiveness, you can only reach it by sea or on foot, hiking the nearby nature trails of the national park of Portofino. The clear and pristine sea waters are ideal for swimming and this lagoon hides a treasure, the famous Christ of the Abyss: one of the most famous international destinations for lovers of scuba diving.
The huge bronze statue rests on the seabed, 15m deep. You can see it from the surface, but the best view is when you dive beneath the waves.
Depart in the afternoon for Cinque Terre.

Cinque Terre
Day 3

The Cinque Terre are one of the most preserved areas in the Mediterranean sea and are a protected Unesco World Heritage Site since 1997.
Riomaggiore, Corniglia, Manarola, Vernazza and Monterosso are the five villages that form the Cinque Terre, suspended between the sea and the land on sheer cliffs that offer dramatic drops to the sparkling waters below.
Five miles of rocky coast among two promontories, thousands of kilometres of dry laid stone walls, five small towns castled up on stone spurs in minuscule creeks. Walking along the coastal footpaths offers striking views of lush Mediterranean vineyards and wild flowers abloom, while further inland you can walk through tantalizing pine and chestnut forests.
Overnight cruise to Monaco.

Day 4

Spend a day exploring Monaco on foot, peruse the shops at Le Metropole Shopping centre or at the new One Monte-Carlo area on the Casino Square, or visit the gorgeous Exotic Garden.
Monaco-Ville is still a medieval village at heart and an astonishingly picturesque site to visit as well. It is made up almost entirely of pedestrian streets and passageways and most of the previous-century houses still remain.
There, you can visit the State Apartments of the Prince’s Palace, the Monaco cathedral which was built in 1875, the world-renowned Oceanographic Museum and Aquarium, the City Hall, and the Saint Martin gardens.
For unforgettable evenings away from the yacht, Monaco offers many fabulous restaurants, the opportunity for delicious sundowners in trendy lounge bars, and an array of sophisticated nightclubs and casinos.

Day 6

Cannes is one of the most well-known cities along the French Riviera with its world-famous film festival.
The old town of Cannes is known as Le Suquet and sits high above the leafy squares and the old port.
The traditional narrow streets wind steeply uphill to the ancient fortification, church and square.
The views are of course spectacular with the whole town displayed at your feet and framed by the Baie de Cannes and the Massif Esterel mountains. Cannes' exhilarating nightlife, casinos and many high end restaurants give the town a feel of exclusivity.

Day 7

The name Saint Tropez evokes images of sunbathing celebrities, designer boutiques, and luxury yachts.
It is hard to believe this glamorous town was once just a humble fishing village.
Enjoy lunch in one of the trendy beach clubs such as La Reserve or Club 55 on the vast sandy beach of Pampelonne.
Spend a relaxing afternoon on Pampelonne beach or discover one of Saint Tropez' s vineyards - the region is famous for its locally produced wines. Several vineyards located around gorgeous estates offer property tours and tastings.
Enjoy dinner at the sumptuous 5-star Chateau de la Messardiere, which offers a terrace with views over the bay of Pampelonne.
