IC Cesme Marina, a chic and vibrant port village set in a natural harbour is sensitively integrated within the traditional maritime city of picturesque Cesme, rich in history and atmosphere.
Enjoy the cruising itinerary below to further explore this Aegean wonder!
Ildir - Oinousses
DAY 1
Either you aim for an anchorage in the Gulf of Ildir or head straight to the island Oinousses.
Ounoussai is a tiny beautiful island characterised by the imposing Captains’ mansion and
impressive stone houses which help give the island an element of aristocratic finesse.
The Maritime museum of Oinousses is housed within the mansion of the Laimos family. It
was founded in 1965 with the intention of presenting the rich naval history of the island.
Exhibits include model ships, paintings, nautical instruments, documents and books all
relating to the maritime tradition of the island.
Eski Foca
DAY 2
On the second day you will then sail around Cape Karaburun to Eski Foca. Mooring in Büyükdeniz Limani or in the club (where some moorings are available).
Sitting below the Genoese castle is the waterfront which has a good selection of shops and restaurants. The Ottoman-Greek houses fronting the Küçük Deniz are among the finest on the Aegean
coast, with doors that open onto a storybook esplanade where locals and visitors play,
promenade and dine al fresco.

Eski Foca - Bademli Limani
DAY 3
From Eski Foca, the trip takes you further north to the bay of Bademli Kalem which sits
between Eski Foca and the Turkish mainland. Anchor in this beautifully sheltered bay
which is surrounded by olive groves. A yacht may also proceed to Bademli Liman itself, but the depths are decreasing quickly.
All the anchorages are located in beautiful surroundings with hot springs. The passage between the mainland and Kalem Adasi is possible from the North and South.

Bademli - Ayvalik
DAY 4
Ayvalik is located opposite of Lesbos on the south side of the Edremit Gulf. The channel to Ayvalik is marked by lit buoys which facilitates also an approach at night. The archipelago is very beautiful.
Wander a few streets back from the waterfront and you' ll discover an old Greek village. Colourful shuttered doors conceal boutique hotels in restored stone houses, mosques converted from Greek Orthodox churches welcome the faithful to prayer and historic cafes full of locals line hidden squares.

Ayvalik - Lesbos
DAY 5
Going back south from Ayvalik to the starting point Çesme Marina there opens up an Anchor Bay on the Greek island of Lesbos which offers good anchorages, namely in the entrance to Agios Ermogenis.
Here you find yourself in this simple but magical site, with the small country chapel of Ag.Ermogenis perched on top of a rock.
There is a very romantic path next to the sea which is a beautiful sight amongst pine trees.
The beach is quite small but still worth a visit. Because of its location the sun sets early
here. Have a drink in the little Taverna and relax in the peaceful atmosphere.

Agios Ermogenis - Çesme Marina
DAY 6
53 nm seem at first glance a huge stretch, especially on the last day, but in general the Meltemi is favourable on this route. Leave earlier and have breakfast underway.
Cesme Marina is a chic, vibrant marina village set in a natural harbour which has a few
boutiques and restaurants.
