Sandwiched between the Everglades to the west and North America’s only living coral barrier reef to the east, Key Largo is surrounded by perfect waters for diving and fishing. Key Largo itself is bustling with bars and restaurants. Just a short trip from Key Largo you will find the Everglades National Park which is the largest subtropical wilderness in the United States.

Made up of six islands, Islamorada is considered by many to be the fishing capital of the world. Cast a line for sailfish offshore, bonefish along the Atlantic shallows, or redfish and tarpon in Florida Bay. In addition to the incredible fishing you may wish to visit The Theatre of the Sea for an encounter with a dolphin or peruse the exhibits at the History of Diving Museum which boasts a 16th Century treasure chest amongst its delights.

Cruise past Duck Key’s majestic palms, turquoise-green canals and arched Venetian-style bridges to the Hawk’s Cay Resort and enjoy lunch or a refreshment in one of its many restaurants and bars. As of the 2000 census, Duck Key had a population of just 443 making it the ideal place for those wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

Cruise through Newfound Harbour and anchor off Little Palm Island. Step ashore for a spa treatment at the island’s resort before dining under the stars surrounded by Key deer, which are native and can only be found in the Florida keys, and the mesmerizing songbirds.

Snorkel in the Looe Key Marine Sanctuary before cruising on to Key West Bight. Key West is Florida’s southernmost point, lying roughly ninety miles North of Cuba. Famed for its pastel-hued, conch-style houses, you can stroll along the harbour before discovering the fantastic boutiques along Key West’s Duval Street, and finish by raising a glass to your cruise at the sunset party at Mallory Square - needless to say, the sunset is a stunner!
