The slender island chain of the Maldives is strewn across the azure waters of the Indian Ocean. Its thousands of islands are surrounded by infinite shades of blue water, home to dazzling underwater coral gardens and marine life.

DAY 1 TO 2

Step aboard in the Port of Male located on North Male Atoll. The North Male Atoll is home to many of the Maldives’s most famous and best-established resorts, and all the islands are within easy reach of the capital city.
The area is characterised by some of the best reefs in the Maldives, caves, current-swept channels and drop offs. The marine life is diverse and the many crevices are home to reef sharks and mantas, tuna, rays, turtles and a variety of different colourful fish. Some of the Maldives’ best surf breaks are in North Male Atoll, and here you’ll find a small, seasonal surfer scene.
A jewel among a string of coral atolls, lagoons and white sands, the One&Only Reethi Rah Resort makes its home on one of the largest islands in North Male Atoll. Set within its very own lagoon, Huvafen Fushi Resort is also very popular, it’s a naturalist’s wonderland where the stunning environment above and below the waterline is simply fascinating and the star attraction here is the world’s first underwater Spa.

Head further north to Noonu Atoll. There are more than 70 islands in the atoll, and these are the location of the newest tourist island developments. The lush tropical islands, white sugar-sand beaches and colourful coral reefs of the region are in pristine condition.

DAY 6 TO 7

Baa Atoll has the reputation of being one of the most beautiful and unspoiled parts of the Maldives island chain. The lush vegetation and white powder-sand beaches lapped by turquoise-blue waters make Baa Atoll an excellent choice for an idyllic tropical holiday.

DAY 10

Cruise south to explore Meemu Atoll, where only two islands located on the Eastern side have been developed into exclusive luxury resorts. There are several notable wreck dives within a short range of Meemu Atoll, including the wreck of the Ravestein, a Dutch East Indiaman that sank in 1726 with a cargo of gold and silver, bound from Jakarta to the Netherlands - not all the gold and silver was recovered! Today it is a treasure house of colourful fish and other sea creatures that have taken up residence in the remains of its hull.
Meaning ‘Reef Above Water’, Cinnamon Hakuraa Huraa Maldives is the first resort to be developed in the Meemu Atoll and enjoys a unique location beside one of the longest stretches of reef in the archipelago.
