Corsica and Sardinia
7 days Luxury Yacht Charter Experience
The islands of Corsica and Sardinia remain largely unspoilt. Corsica, which is French, has a tremendous scenic diversity that is complemented by its fascinating history. The Italian island of Sardinia is a striking land of contrasts, with a wild interior and glamorous coastline

CALVI TO GIROLATA
DAY 1
Nestled in the north-west of Corsica, Calvi' s marina is overlooked by its famous Citadel, a
beautiful sight from the seas. Embark on your charter and cruise through the Golfe of Girolata - a beautiful nature reserve- to the pretty fishing village of Girolta for a peaceful night's anchorage.
If the mood takes you why not dine at the Hotel La Villa or just sit back and enjoy dinner on board taking in the fantastic views from the aft deck.

GIROLATA TO AJACCIO

Anchor for lunch in the Gulf of Sagone. If there are any scuba divers amongst the group, the gulf offers several dive sites, including a WWII American bomber plane wreck which is largely still intact.
Continue on to Ajaccio in the afternoon. Saunter through the old streets of Napoleon's birthplace and lose yourself amidst the classical Mediterranean allure of pale, sunlit streets and picturesque ruins.
AJACCIO TO BONIFACIO
DAY 3
Enjoy a morning of water sports around the Sanguinaires Islands before heading to the southern tip of Corsica to the port of Bonifacio. Bonifacio is a well-preserved fortified town which dates back to the 9th century.
Cantilevered out on eroded limestone, the original houses of the old town sit on white and caramel rock shelves precariously overlooking the café-lined harbour below.
A popular tourist attraction in town is the Saint-Dominique church dating back to the 12th-13th centuries. This Gothic church has an impressive 15th-century tower which contains some interesting wooden carved figures. The stunning walk along the cliffs to the Pertusatu lighthouse also comes highly recommended.
BONIFACIO TO MADDALENA ISLANDS
DAY 4
Rise early and explore Bonifacio's old citadel and the alleys climbing up towards the sky for a perfect view of your next port of call - the Maddalena Islands. Largely uninhabited, the Italian islands are perfect for water sports and provide secluded, sheltered anchorages. You will find many old lighthouses in this area which make for some fantastic photos.
MADDALENA ISLANDS TO PORTO CERVO
DAY 5
Carry on south and head along the rugged coastline of the Costa Smeralda. Anchor for lunch around Porto Rotondo, before heading to the chic boutiques of Porto Cervo. Sip a cocktail on the roof terrace of the Yacht Club Costa Smeralda (members and guests only) or in one of the many bars and restaurants that line the port.
If you're visiting in June, why not take the chance to view the Loro Piana Superyacht Regatta - the sailing superyachts chasing each other through the archipelago is an impressive sight.
PORTO CERVO TO CALA DI VOLPE
DAY 6
Surrounded by beaches and clear waters, the beautiful wide bay of Cala di Volpe is an ideal anchorage for water sports and and relaxation. If peckish go ashore to the Cala di Volpe hotel for a delicious lunch - the yacht's tender can you take straight to the hotel jetty.
Take a step away from the bustling Costa Smeralda and venture inland to the idyllic mountain village of San Pantaleo to discover real Sardinian life.
