CORFU TO PAXOS

DAY 1

Corfu an island with a long history and rich traditions. She was occupied by the Venetians, the English and the French with varied architectures. On the heights the palace of Sissi the empress, dedicated to Achille, and an amazing view on the little church Vlacherna facing the Kanoni peninsula.
The old town is a gem for sightseeing, with two Venetian fortresses, interesting museums, the Spianada Square and Liston Street - a wonderful paved street that is a copy of Rue de Rivoli in Paris. Visit the beautiful church of Agios Spyridon, protector of the island.
Cruise south towards Paxos, a small island famous for its wonderful beaches with their exotic blue colour.

MEGANISI

DAY 2

Meganisi is a small island with lush greenery and turquoise waters. The island has plenty to offer, beautiful white sandy beaches, sleepy whitewashed villages, such as Katomeri or Spartochori, and visit the island through the stone alleys.
The island has a plethora of marine caves, together with the most one called Papanikolis, a striking natural cavern on the southwestern part of the island, thirty meters deep, with a sandy beach inside it.

KEFALONIA

DAY 3

On the northern tip of Kefalonia discover Fiscardo a picturesque and beautiful Greek harbour village, the largest of the seven Ionian islands. Fiscardo is unique it was left virtually undamaged during the great earthquake of 1953, that ruined most of the historic buildings on Kefalonia.
Walkers and nature lovers will find a beautiful landscape with interesting trails to follow.
In addition to the famous Myrtos beach, Kefalonia boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in the Mediterranean.

ZAKYNTHOS

DAY 4

Zakynthos, or Zante, is among the most beautiful and popular islands of the Ionian sea.
Located south of Kefalonia, it is world famous for its crystal beaches and intense nightlife.
The most famous beach on the island is the wonderful Navagio (shipwreck) beach; a secluded cove with white sand and turquoise waters. This cove can only be reached by boat and has a shipwreck on its shore.
During the summer, the beaches of Zakynthos, due to their clean water and the soft sand, become breeding places for the endangered caretta-caretta sea turtle.

ITHAKI

DAY 5

The entire landscape of Ithaki is like a paradise, with lush greenery, small scattered villages and secluded coves with turquoise water. Swimming and walking are the most popular activities on the island. Vathy is the capital and, since the 16th Century, the location of the main harbour of Ithaki. This picturesque village, the largest of the island, is built amphitheatrically around a deep and sheltered bay with a narrow entrance. Enjoy lunch and take a refreshing swim in the shallow crystalline waters of Filiatro, the closest beach to Vathy. Trees that cover the sea shore offer natural shade and an inviting atmosphere. Kioni is a lovely picturesque port situated in the South-East of Ithaki.

LEFKADA

DAY 6

Lefkada (also known as Lefkas) is a mountainous island, covered with dense vegetation to the east and south. Its eastern coast slopes gently down to the sea, which is sheltered from the wind and dotted with thickly wooded islets. The most famous of these are Skorpios, Madouri and Sparti. In contrast, the west coast is steep, with a few stunted pine trees and lined with spectacular stretches of endless golden beach.

ANTIPAXOS

DAY 7

The tiny island of Antipaxos is a quiet and remote paradise with attractive beaches such as Vrika and Voutoumi, famous for their transparent waters and breathtaking settings, that offer excellent swimming and snorkelling.

Apart from its beaches, Antipaxos is home to some beautiful chalk-white stretches of coastline, a host of olive groves and a large vineyard.
