How to charter a luxury yacht

There is very little you really need to know on this subject, because the truth is as soon as you have made the exciting decision to go on a yacht charter, all you need to know is the telephone number of your local Camper & Nicholsons charter broker.

From the moment you make your first enquiry, your experienced, discreet and highly professional broker will guide you through the entire process, making the planning and preparation as inspired and fun (well, almost!) as the charter itself. However, there are a few things that you might like to bear in mind before you make your call as the more information you provide, the more effectively your charter broker will be able to assist you.

Firstly, think about the type of yacht that would best suit the size and character of your charter party. For example, a modern motor yacht is ideal for a family charter while a sailing yacht would be a fantastic choice for a real yachting enthusiast. Also, bear in mind that most yachts only charter in specific areas. Our charter collection will give you all the information you need in terms of yacht size, guest capacity, price, leisure facilities and cruising areas, so you should have no problem selecting three or four yachts that you like in the areas you want to visit. From this information, your charter broker will get a good idea of what you like and this will assist them in ensuring you make the right choice.

Finally, think about the type of charter you would like. Our charter collection profiles all our charter destinations and suggests lots of exceptional things to do to make your charter as cultural, luxurious, relaxing, active, fun or dynamic as you could wish for. Armed with a handful of yacht names, one or two dream destinations and an idea of the type of charter you would like, simply contact your nearest Camper & Nicholsons charter broker and let the fun begin.
