Cayman Islands Yacht Charter

Luxury Yacht Charter Destination

The quintessentially Caribbean Cayman Islands, situated northwest of Jamaica and south of Cuba, are a haven for superyacht charters with stunning white sands surrounding vibrant forests and azure waters that seem too clear to be true. Hidden beneath the waves lie huge coral reefs, shipwrecks yearning to be explored, and underwater waterfalls in some of the world’s best diving spots. The gentle pace of life provides the perfect destination to unwind and you will find every level of luxury you could wish for.

With a sultry climate and ‘perpetual summer’ tempered by cooling northeast Tradewinds, the optimal time for Cayman Island cruising is between January and mid-April. The achingly beautiful archipelago is made up of three islands - Grand Cayman, Cayman Brac and Little Cayman.

The largest of the tropical trio and living up to its name in every sense is Grand Cayman. In the capital city of George Town, you can lose yourself in a place where traditional architecture meets modern luxury with outstanding restaurants, lavish resorts and duty-free designer shops. Away from the buzz of town, on the west side of the island, you will find the award-winning Seven Mile Beach; a crescent-shaped stretch of golden sand with endless inviting spots for sun worshippers. Meanwhile, the North Sound is home to a neighbourhood of stingrays so vast, it’s named Stingray City and is one of the most memorable and popular attractions to visit whilst on charter.

From Stingrays to more celestial sea creatures, head to Starfish Point to swim amongst a kaleidoscopic collection of starfish or for land-based adventures, visit the Iguanas at the Botanic Park. After all this activity, you’ll be ready to indulge in some of the island’s finest gastronomy and a trip to Grand Cayman isn’t complete without sampling the local delicacy of conch. The Cracked Conch Restaurant by the Sea in West Bay is the perfect place to enjoy cocktails and take in the mesmerising sunsets, whilst another venue sure to leave a lasting impression is the stunning Ristorante Pappagallo set in the mangroves of a lagoon.

Grand Cayman’s smaller siblings are a pair of rustic islands with local charm and unspoilt, alluring landscapes. At only ten miles long and one mile wide, there may be more peace and quiet per-square-inch on Little Cayman than anywhere else. Bask on deserted beaches with soft sand and only the sound of the breeze rustling the palm trees. Renowned as a diver’s paradise, some of the best dive spots in the Caribbean are found here with over 365 sites including the incredible Bloody Bay Wall Marine Park with its dramatic wall that plummets to 5,000 feet. This gives divers an opportunity to glimpse native sharks, stingrays, and turtles all within just 100ft of the surface.

Thrill seekers and nature lovers will be enthralled by a hike to The Bluff on Cayman Brac; the part of the island where the terrain begins a gradual ascent over the ocean. Leading to the edge of limestone cliffs, drink in in the breathtaking ocean views and dramatic landscape before heading back down to Brac Parrot Reserve, home to a spectacular array of the island’s natural bird species. Even the tiny towns here have romantic names like Watering Place, Cotton Tree Bay, Creek and Spot Bay.

With each island offering such a wealth of diverse experiences, whether you are looking for romance, recreation, or pure relaxation you will be spoilt for choice with this exceptional destination.
