Porto Rotondo to Nice

Head to the famous bay of Palombaggia, south of Porto Vecchio in Corsica. This beach was awarded the accolade as one of the finest in the world by UNESCO and it is clear to see why with its stunning scenery made up of red iron rocks set against white sand, backed with green pine trees.
Shamelessly seductive, fashionably alluring, Porto-Vecchio has been dubbed the Corsican St-Tropez.
The old town’s picturesque backstreets, lined with restaurants and designer shops, have charm in spades, and are presided over by the ruined vestiges of an old Genoese citadel.
Choose between dining onboard or if the mood takes you why not tender ashore and visit the Hotel Cala Rossa, a Relais & Chateaux property which has a lovely location on the water’s edge.

Bonifacio is a well-preserved fortified town which dates back to the 9th century.
Cantilevered out of eroded limestone, the original houses of the old town sit on white and caramel rock shelves precariously overlooking the café-lined harbour below.
A popular tourist attraction in town is the Saint-Dominique church dating back to the 12th-13th centuries. This Gothic church has an impressive 15th-century tower which contains some interesting wooden carved figures. The stunning walk along the cliffs to the Pertusatu lighthouse also comes highly recommended.

We’ll head towards the gorgeous beach of Roccapina on Corsica’s south western coast. We recommend visiting the Murtoli Estate for an indulgent lunch and then later in the afternoon, cruise towards the coastal village of Propriano.
With its array of tempting restaurants and café terraces which line the marina, Propriano is a popular port oozing with traditional Corsican culture.

Cruise towards the scenic Girolata Gulf. and Girolata town.
The isolated village of Girolata in the Scandola Nature Reserve is only accessible by boat, or on foot. From the deck of your yacht, enjoy the dramatic view of tiny Girolata nestled on a peninsular in between the dramatic steep red cliffs and sea.
With its turquoise water, its houses precariously clinging to the steepest slopes and its surrounding mountainside, this hamlet is a picturesque place to relax.
Enjoy your dinner onboard or in La Girolata village where there are a selection of restaurants to choose from, all serving local produce in the traditional Corsican style.

Just a short cruise from Girolata is the spectacular Scandola Nature Reserve.
The Scandola Peninsula is a mountainous region of steep cliffs overlooking the sea and offshore islands.
Crystal-clear turquoise waters lap against the cliffs and hidden coves. This area is only accessible by boat and has an amazing marine life - get your snorkel and see for yourself!
Later in the afternoon you will arrive in Calvi.
This beautiful town is nestled in the northwest of Corsica and is overlooked by its famous citadel, a fantastic sight from the sea.
The locals claim Calvi to be the birth place of Christoper Colombus.
