Amalfi coast

7 days Luxury Yacht Charter Experience

Take in keys sites of the Amalfi coast such as Ischia, Capri and Positano.

These Italian towns all have so much to offer, from the historic architecture to the breathtaking natural views. Ischia and Capri are highlights, with idyllic winding lanes filled with designer boutiques and limoncello makers.

Naples to Procida
Day 1

Embarkation in Naples; the town's enormous cultural heritage and unique charm make Naples one of the most beautiful cities in the world. If you want to visit the elegant city, we recommend a walk around the wonderful 'lungomare', the riviera di Chiaia or via Francesco Caracciolo. The city houses many museums - the Museum of Prehistory, National Archaeological Museum, the Naval Museum, to name a few. There are also some striking castles - Castel dell' Ovo, Castel Nuovo, and Castel Capuano.
When you are ready, cruise to Procida. Procida is the smallest island in the Gulf of Naples, which is rich in history and archaeology. The architecture on Procida has a Greek origin which is exciting to explore. Linked by bridge is the small island of Vivara, here lies some interesting
archaeological excavations. Procida has featured in some notable films, such as 'The Postman' by Massimo Troisi and also features in 'The Talented Mr. Ripley' starring Matt Damon and Jude
Law. The yacht will anchor nearby overnight, so why not enjoy dinner ashore. Restaurants in Procida offer simple Italian cooking and many specialise in fresh, local fish dishes.

Procida to Ischia
Day 2

Ischia is the largest island in the Bay of Naples and is considered by many to be the most beautiful. The island is surrounded by many charming and peaceful beaches, such as the Chiaia beach in Forio - perfect for children and adults alike. There is also 'Spiaggia degli Inglesi' which is a good place to avoid the crowds from town. After a warm bathe in the sun, you can visit the many attractions on the island: The Villas 'La Colombaia' and 'La Mortella', the botanical garden 'Giardini Ravino', the tower 'Il Torrione' and The Soccorso's church in Forio. The 'Castello Aragonese' and the Guevara Tower in Ischia Ponte are also worth a visit. The Angelo Rizzoli has a stunning picture gallery and the antique thermal springs of Cavascura are not to be missed. End the day in one of the island's night spots situated in Forio or Ischia Porto. Overnight in the port of Ischia.

The island offers many features such as the Marina Piccola - the little harbour, the Belvedere of Tragara (a high panoramic promenade, lined with villas), the Faraglioni (natural limestone structures which jut out of the sea), the beautiful town of Anacapri and the world renowned Blue Grotto (Grotta Azzurra) - This stunning cave has a unique influx of light which illuminates the water within creating a deep blue haven. The yacht will remain in the port of Capri for two days in order for you to fully enjoy this amazing island.
One evening why not go ashore for dinner at the famous Da Paolino, the "lemon tree" restaurant.

Capri to Positano
Day 5

Positano is a small town on the Amalfi Coast. The town itself is perched on an enclave on the side of a hill which winds down towards the waters of the coast. Naturally beautiful, Positano is also famed for its production of limoncello and other lemon products.
The city is characterized by the church of Santa Maria Assunta, built in the 1920s. After a visit to this icon of the town, discover the other secrets of Positano, such as the harbour and the shops. Close to Positano is Nerano, a charming fishing village situated halfway between Sorrento and Amalfi.
The beach at Nerano, named Marina del Cantone, can be reached passing through old olive terraces and on the way you pass an anti-corsair tower, which dates back to the 16th century. The beach is an ideal place to begin an excursion along the coast, either by sea or by land.
The popular and typically fish-based cuisine of the area is highly recommended. The yacht will remain at anchor in front of Positano or Nerano for the night, or if preferred the yacht can continue
onto the port of Sorrento.

Positano to Amalfi
Day 6

Amalfi was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site for its undisputed beauty and and unique natural landscape; a coastline characterised by the mixture of mountain and sea. The mountain side plunges steeply into the sea, creating charming coves, deep fjords, cliffs, caverns, bays, natural arches and small pebble beaches. The city of Amalfi was the first of the four Maritime Republics in Italy and so has many historical points of interest such as the imposing Cathedral 'St. Andrew', the Campanile (bell tower), the Cloister of Paradise and the Paper Museum. From the town of Amalfi there are some great cycling routes as well as the chance to have a private excursion to any of the other towns/villages on the Amalfi coast. For example you may wish to visit Ravello during its famous music festival.
Here in the town you’ll find beautiful coral jewellery in the windows of almost every store, with store owners only too pleased for you to sample their Limoncello. Spend the night at anchor in Amalfi.
