About Shannon Kelly

Shannon's love for the water and boating started at an early age, growing up in Merritt Island, Florida. With her grandfather and her father being Captains, she found out at an early age what her passion in life was. Shannon started her career in the United States Coast Guard, working on a black haul ship. After her time in the service, she transitioned to commercial vessels and working her way up with a 3rd Mate Unlimited Oceans license. As a merchant mariner, Shannon has sailed on steel and fiberglass vessels in French Polynesia, California, the Great Lakes and the North Atlantic. In addition to commercial ships, Shannon has worked on a variety of private yachts. She is a professional and experienced mariner who has a passion for sailing and knows yachts inside out.
