About Randy Weir
Randy has always been enamored with the ocean, spending summers in Blue Hill, Maine before moving onto a classic Feadship at the age of six. His family spent three years travelling throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and even to the Galapagos Islands, where Randy’s love for yachting began. He took sailing lessons from the age of seven to sixteen, when he then moved on to teaching sailing himself. Following sailing instruction, Randy began racing and maintaining a small fleet of sailing yachts in Maine, before moving to Newport, RI to attend the IYRS School of Boatbuilding and Restoration and further build on his racing resume.
Before beginning with Camper & Nicholsons, Randy worked as a yacht broker in Charleston, South Carolina for two years, specializing in sailing yachts. At Camper & Nicholsons, Randy intends to manage a wide variety of listings, building on his industry knowledge and expertise to best serve his clients.
