Camper & Nicholsons present at the Asia Futurist Leadership Summit

Camper & Nicholsons recently hosted a Cocktail Party and presented at the Asia Futurist Leadership Summit 2020, in Hong Kong.

C&N was honoured to partner with the organiser, the Association of Family Offices in Asia (AFO), to host the Party and to present at the Family Office Solution Showcase on day two of the conference.The Asia Futurist Leadership Summit gathers together family offices, family enterprises, industry professionals, private banks, institutions, funds and start-ups from around the globe to network and learn from each other. The overall focus of the summit was on responsible business ownership and investment. The event has been organised annually by the AFO since 2013 and they are promoting the topical theme of driving more capital into Environmental Sustainability & Governance – a theme that C&N support and touch on in recent news posts about Mission Blue and the Sustainable Yachting Network.

On the 15^th January, the C&N Cocktail Party took place at China Tang, the internationally renowned fine dining restaurant from the Lai Sun Group. Mr. Lester Lam, Chairman of Camper & Nicholsons, attended the event ‘Holiday Getaway on a Private Luxury Superyacht.’ Mr. Lam was joined by around 100 guests from family offices, private banks, institutions and funds. They came together to get to know more about the luxury yacht charter experience and listen to the C&N story presented by Ms. Carmen Lau, Managing Director and Mr. Bart Kimman, Commercial Director of Camper & Nicholsons.

The following day at the summit, Ms. Carmen Lau, Managing Director of Camper & Nicholsons Asia, presented in the Family Office Solution Showcase. Carmen was delighted to take the opportunity to share her experience and tips on “How to manage the extraordinary asset – The Superyacht.” She gave the audience an overview of the yachting industry and expanded on yacht management and the potential income from chartering superyachts.
