Camper & Nicholsons announce their appointment as the central agents for the sale of 60.10m PALOMA
The 1960s was the decade of unforeseen, earth shattering social and technological upheaval – notably “the man on the moon”. It sets the perfect stage for the PALOMA to appear on the global yachting scene. With its superbly expansive tri-deck layout giving it a size of 60.10m, PALOMA is a Trans-Atlantic beauty with showstopping timeless elegance.
Created as a custom build by Ishikawajima-Harima shipyard, PALOMA has only had two owners showcasing its everlasting charm to its proprietors. The second owner modernised the yacht with a full rebuild in 2003/2004 along with a comprehensive refit in 2018.
PALOMA is steeped in history and exploration having completed the Atlantic crossing an impressive twenty times. It’s stunning sky lounge and emblematic sun beds are truly the epitomy of 1960s grandeur. With a select few notable figures gracing the elegant wood-panelled upper deck, throughout PALOMA’s notoriously prominent 55 years in operation.
With its brand new navigational and communication systems, along with at-anchor stabilisers, PALOMA has the size and amenities perfectly suited for family cruising, even for longer passages with a comfortable speed of 15kn.
The Upper deck is ideal for entertaining guests with an incredibly spacious and versatile area to accommodate lounge furniture, sun beds and further towards the aft, an al fresco dining table (with the possibility of shade by an electric bimini).
The main deck has a plethora of entertaining options within both the large saloon and formal dining area, with the possibility of extending the table to seat twelve guests. Continuing towards the bow, a study space can be found adjacent to an immersive cinema room complete with a large Plasma screen television.
Other stand-out features include the sun deck which comes complete with a Jacuzzi at centre stage, creating an ideal platform to enjoy wonderfully elevated 360? views. PALOMA has accommodation for twelve guests in seven suites. The guest accommodation is found on the lower deck and comprises two double cabins and two twins, all ensuite, plus two single berth cabins that share a shower room. Each of the cabins has its own unique colour scheme, and all of the ensuites are finished in exquisitely luxurious cream marble.
PALOMA carries her two 6m RIB tenders on the foredeck, both can be smoothly deployed and recovered by crane. The sun deck is also equipped with an additional crane and this space is the perfect home for an additional tender and stow away for an abundance of water toys.
