Camper & Nicholsons announce the sale of 42.8m M/Y X

Camper & Nicholsons is pleased to announce the sale of m/y X, a 42.8m explorer range of Sanlorenzo.
The yacht was sold by Fernando Nicholson and it marks the 4th superyacht sale by our Miami office since the beginning of 2020, with Alain Auvare from Oboard Yachting acting as the buying broker.

M/Y X, hull #2 of Sanlorenzo’s highly successful 460 EXP series, was launched in 2016 and designed to offer the owner the ability of self-sufficient long range cruising without compromising comfort.

This tri-deck explorer yacht, built to RINA classification, has a steel displacement hull and aluminum superstructure. With 475 gross tonnage, m/y X offers higher volume of space than many similar yachts, in addition to having the impressive 4,000nm range at cruising speed. Her limited draught also allows for easy coastal sailing and maneuverability.

Both exterior and interior design were undertaken by the award-winning Francesco Paszkowski, with a refined taste and style accommodating 12 guests in six cabins with additional arrangements for eight crew. The full beam master suite is located on the main deck. The one VIP suite, two double cabins, two twin cabins and an additional convertible family room are located on the lower deck.

Due to her superstructure that is shifted forward, m/y X has vast aft outer deck spaces comprising of a pool and sun loungers on the main aft deck, large dining area on the upper deck and an indoor/outdoor gym on the sun deck. The aft deck also allows plenty of space to store a large array of water toys, from a personal submersible to a large tender of up to 10 meters.
