About SAMKARA
Samkara is a Ferretti 780, one of the brand’s most popular flybridge models, celebrated for expansive outdoor living areas and seamless connection between interior and exterior spaces. This generation is particularly valued for its thoughtful layout, designed to separate crew and guest circulation, ensuring greater privacy whether cruising privately with up to eight guests or hosting day charters. Samkara also benefits from practical handling features, including a third control station in the cockpit and a dedicated flybridge crane for launching and retrieving the tender.
Samkara offers two distinct outdoor spaces: the flybridge and the aft deck. The flybridge offers a semi-circular sofa with a central table, a sunpad for lounging, and a helm station, all sheltered beneath a soft bimini. On the main deck aft, a dining table complemented by a built-in sofa and movable chairs creates an ideal setting for al fresco meals overlooking the swim platform, shaded by the flybridge above. A dedicated crane on the flybridge facilitates the launch and recovery of a 3.6m tender with Honda 30hp outboard, included in the sale. Additionally, a separate garage adjacent to the swim platform provides convenient storage for a jet ski.
The main salon features an open-plan, split-level layout with a lounge and a raised dining area with an extendable glass table that comfortably seats eight. Large windows welcome an abundance of natural light while sliding glass doors between the aft deck and salon are angled outward, enhancing the feeling of space. Heartwood and teak replace traditional cherry wood, creating a lighter and more contemporary feel throughout. Thoughtful circulation is integral to Samkara’s design. An internal staircase offers guests direct access to the flybridge, while a separate exterior passage allows crew to move discreetly without entering the salon. Similarly, the galley, positioned between the salon and wheelhouse, features two frosted-glass doors that provide independent entry points and allow natural light to filter through from the salon.
The lower deck comprises four guest cabins, each with an en suite bathroom. A full-beam master suite, located amidships, includes a king-sized bed, built-in chaise longue beside large windows, and sliding doors that separate the en suite bathroom. Forward is a spacious VIP double cabin, complemented by two additional twin cabins, providing versatile accommodation for guests or family. Crew quarters are discreetly located with separate access, including a cabin with two bunk beds and a bathroom.
Samkara features a GRP planning hull powered by twin 1660 Hp MTU 12V 2000 M92 engines. Recent updates include antifouling completed in 2024 and a newly installed Simrad navigation system.
