Joy is the all-embracing feeling Christopher Columbus felt when he landed on the untouched coastline of the Americas. Joy is that same precise feeling the owner felt when he brought together the trifecta of the yachting industry: Feadship, Bannenberg & Roswell and Studio Indigo to turn his vision into reality – a 70m superyacht marvel named JOY.
The first project to have the infamous Bannenberg & Roswell interior design house, infuse their visionary fervour on the exterior of this ingenious yacht. Notably the expansive “promenade deck”, wide enough to stroll or even jog, in tandem, around the whole superstructure.
JOY is an emblematic yacht with sleek, stylish lines and sweeping teak decks, showcased perfectly at the foredeck of the main deck, where the prominent basketball court can be found.
This sizeable court can also be used to play badminton or to stretch out your muscles and dig deep, find your zen with ample room for yoga or pilates.
Throughout all four endless decks of JOY you will find perfect areas for your specific needs. From the Main deck’s winter garden, ideal for dining, to the aft deck lounge complete with an outdoor cinema screen, a quintessential experience to bask in the evening breeze. The Owner’s deck also has a welcoming winter garden along with a charming lounge and dining area, situated just below the incandescent Sun deck.
The Sun deck is a true “piece de resistance” complete with the ultimate BBQ area, a refreshing plunge pool / jacuzzi and an incredibly scenic lounge area, providing an all-encompassing view
around the yacht.
JOY’s interior is a noteworthy endeavor in itself. Studio Indigo were tasked with creating an individualistic and non-boat like feel, which they befittingly delivered with a uniquely vibrant interior and avoided cliched details which would become dated in years to come.
With an extremely flexible cabin layout that can sleep up to twelve guests across seven cabins, including one VIP stateroom, five double cabins and one twin cabin – making JOY the perfect host for families and friends alike. Not to mention its lifestyle amenities such as a large gym, spa room, on-board masseuse, pool & jacuzzi and an incredibly expansive selection of water toys sure to entertain the guests hours on end.
