The Sundance Film Festival, a program of the Sundance Institute, takes place annually in Park City, Utah.

It is currently the largest independent film festival in the United States and the culmination of the Sundance Film Festival is the awards ceremony. 

Since 1985, many films that have launched at the Festival have gained critical recognition and acclaim, reaching new audiences worldwide.
