Sponsored by Camper & Nicholsons, and hosted by The Wanderers Club and Give Back for Special Equestrians, Horse Crazy is an evening for horse-crazy enthusiasts featuring a polo match, gourmet lobster dinner, and a book talk by the critically-acclaimed Pulitzer Prize Finalist author, Sarah Maslin Nir. Her best-selling book, Horse Crazy, is a fascinating, funny, and moving love letter to horses and the people who love them.
This event aims to raise funds for the US-based nonprofit Give Back for Special Equestrians, a foundation providing therapeutic horseback riding and equine-assisted scholarships for disabled children and veterans through its stable partners throughout Florida, New York, and Colorado. Their mission is to share the joy of horses and horsemanship for those facing some of life's most difficult challenges. To date, the organisation has raised more than $200,000 USD for special needs riders.
