About Karen Ball
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Karen has had strong connections with the marine industry most of her life, with family members actively working in the industry, as well as owning and racing yachts which had her involved from an early age.
After studying at university in Bath, UK, she came back to Hong Kong to pursue her passion to work with yachts and wrote for local sailing magazines. She then moved overseas to increase her experience in a number of jobs as crew, running and maintaining privately owned superyachts in Europe and the USA, along with several refit projects in Fort Lauderdale and the Med.
On returning to Hong Kong in 2007, her interests turned to sales and she began working as a full time yacht broker for a global brokerage house in charge of brokerage sales and new builds.
Successfully selling a whole range of sailing and motor yachts as well as new builds, including constructions such as Grand Banks and Bakri Cono's Heliotrope 48 range, she looked to transition to the next step up to even larger yachts
This brought her to Camper and Nicholson Asia in the hope that she can continue to support her clients with the same professional and diligent outlook considering her strong background developed through the years in all aspects of yacht sales and management.
