Bambochip is a fast cruising, sloop-rigged sailing yacht sporting a lifting keel and a lightweight, composite hull. Bambochip is the only Shipman 80 available on the second hand market and is offered for sale with a US duty paid status.

A highlight of Bambochip’s design is her large cockpit. Here, guests can relax even whilst the yacht is underway, with the dual helm positioned further aft. Forward of the cockpit seating, there’s direct access to the saloon provided by a sliding glass door and the saloon features an oval dining table.

Originally built for a well renowned yachting family whose name is associated with the French America’s Cup challenge, it’s no surprise that Bambochip has been exceptionally maintained with one just one owner since new.

Sleek and elegant, Bambochip has a flush foredeck and her tender is stowed aft in the transom garage, which forms a swim platform when open.

Bambochip’s accommodation comprises a full-beam owner’s suite forward, a guest twin and a guest double, both en suite. There’s also a designated crew cabin for 3, with en suite.
