About VICTORIOUS
The owner searched for a highly-respected shipyard with a reputation in high build quality, yet would also give him flexibility with regards to a custom interior. Thus, the Taiwanese shipyard, Horizon stepped up and delivered the stunning, 29.56m Victorious.
Victorious is a truly unique yacht from the 97RP series. She has the characteristic sleek lines of the RP and also provides an enclosed helm area, as well as a full exterior flybridge deck with outside entertaining areas and tender storage. This yacht is technically the basic structure of the exterior of a 97 raised pilothouse, with about 90% of the interior redesigned and restructured for entertaining and offering that extra spacious feel.
The owner collaborated with a British designer to create a fully customisable, modern and versatile interior to maximise entertainment opportunities. For example, the furniture is not fixed, therefore each room can be manipulated and adapted to suit a variety of preferences. The layout of the interior was also envisioned to be as practical and efficient as possible. Forward of the galley, the cabin is dedicated to dining and entertaining space, while all accommodation is located on the lower deck, allowing the upper decks to provide the most user-friendly provision of space. The dining room is fitted with a sophisticated television system as an addition, so the area can be converted, if needed, for work on board and conferences to take place.
Materials, which were sourced by both the owner and the designer from around the world, were flown to Taiwan and the Horizon shipyard to be fitted in the yacht’s interior. These impressive materials include a very rare type of marble flooring, which was used in all the heads, along with the shell design inlaid desks and walls in the master cabin, as well as the gold leaf effect in the Jacuzzi bath.
Comfortably accommodating up to six guests across three staterooms. The master cabin is located midship, complete with a king-sized bed and luxurious en suite facilities, such as his-and-her bathrooms and a Jacuzzi style bathtub – all of which go hand in hand with its Moulin Rouge theme. The VIP cabin offers a queen-sized bed with a charming en suite shower. While the guest cabin also has its own en suite shower, while offering a double bed which can be stored away and replaced with a sofa for conversion into a television room.
A lot of care was also taken to establish a variety of entertaining areas across Victourious’ three exterior decks. For example, an additional Jacuzzi was added to the flybridge and comes with its own cover that converts it into a seating area when it is not in use. The Jacuzzi is positioned forward of the bar and seating area, so that space aft is given to large storage for a choice of water sports toys and tender. Thanks to this design, the flybridge is much larger than that of a regular 97RP sistership layout.
Victorious is a truly unique yacht, envisioned by her owner in collaboration with an experienced British designer and impeccably maintained by a dedicated Captain and crew. This is the perfect yacht for an influential, modern-thinking buyer who appreciates not only the time and energy taken to create such a special interior, but who shares a passion for her distinct design and one-of-a-kind art pieces.
