WIND OF FORTUNE
Luxury Motor Yacht for Charter |
52.10m (170ft 11in) | CRN | 1981 (2020)

INSTANT BOOKING

Wind Of Fortune was built in the early 1980s to a design by Kevin Calhoun and rose to fame both for her role serving royalty, and for starring in the Jackie Chan movie Rush Hour 2 in 2001.  Wind Of Fortune is a 52.1m motor yacht from the CRN shipyard that is now in better shape than ever, following a full rebuild which was completed in 2020.

Charter guests aboard Wind Of Fortune will be delighted by her immaculate condition and this yacht has huge appeal, with expansive deck spaces and a sun deck hosting a Jacuzzi and a bar.

Wind Of Fortune has accommodation for 12 guests across seven cabins, which is more than most yachts of comparable size.  The additional seventh cabin offers enhanced flexibility for accommodating mixed groups of family and friends. All cabins are en suite, with the arrangement comprising a full beam master stateroom, VIP suite and five twin cabins.

The interior is executed in a classic style and features a carefully curated art collection.  Wood panelling and upholstery in largely neutral tones create a relaxed and inviting atmosphere.

In the main saloon, guests will find a spacious lounge and a separate dining area for more formal occasions.  The saloon is equipped with a modern entertainment system and there’s a huge selection of movies available.

Wind Of Fortune also has an elegant skylounge with a full-size bar for the most imaginative of cocktail creations and this area is a popular spot for pre or post dinner drinks.

Guests can also enjoy dining on deck in one of several al fresco seating areas.

Wind Of Fortune has been praised for her child-friendly crew and the careful consideration given to amenities for younger guests, such as the dedicated playroom.  Wind Of Fortune is also well known for her talented Chef, who makes day-to-day dining a gourmet experience like no other.

Wind Of Fortune can also boast a well equipped gym and a huge beach club platform at her stern, providing easy access to and from the water.

Originally built at CRN in Italy as a 47m in 1981, Taipan was lengthened to 52m and had her upper deck enclosed during her refit at Atlantic shipyards in the later 1980's. She subsequently underwent a further refit at Rybovich in 1998. Since her purchase by her current Owners Taipan has been operating as a charter yacht and specialised in the Southeast Asia market with some success. Since the crisis this charter market is well down and now the Owners are seeking a sale as they do not use the yacht themselves. Despite the substantial sums spent on her during the Llloyds 25 year survey last year they are very realistic and are offering a great deal for a ready-to-go yacht.Originally built at CRN as a 47m in 1981, Taipan was lengthened to 52m and had her upper deck enclosed. Fitted out with 7 cabins and complies with SOLAS regulations to allow her to charter with this number. Now that the charter market is poor the Owners want to sell as they do not use the yacht themselves. Despite the substantial sums spent on her during the Llloyds 25 year survey last year they are very realistic. Exceptionally well priced and ready to cruise.
